1998-1999 Scans Scans of snapshots taken in late 1998 and during 1999, including Dad before and after he got sick, Mom, Dave, Thorne, Zachary

The photos in this gallery were taken with a variety of digital cameras starting out with an Olympus C-2000 (2MP) which traveled around the world with me, twice. This was eventually replaced with a Fuji FinePix 602 (3MP) which was then augmented with a pocket size Minolta Dimage XT (3MP). In 2006, the Fuji was retired in favor of a Panasonic FZ30 superzoom (8MP). In 2007, I acquired and began using my first DSLR, a Nikon D80. I am fitting it with at 18-200mm VR lens and a SB600 flash system. I also use an 85mm 1.8 prime on the D80. My Minolta was retired in 2008 in favor of a Canon S1100 pocket p&s. The file sizes of the images posted on this site are, of course, only a fraction of the size of the original files produced by the cameras. If anyone would be interested in receiving the full size, high resolution file for any of these images, please email a request, noting the name of the image.
